Introduction:
Flat shape glass and a bulge decoration on the side are with a brown stopper on the top. This inside painted snuff bottle is the series of Water margin 108 heroes by Huang San.
Water margin, 108 heroes is set in the closing years of the Northern Song dynasty tells of how a group of 108 outlaws gathers at Mount Liang (or Liangshan Marsh) to form a sizable army before they are eventually granted amnesty by the government and sent on campaigns to resist foreign invaders (Liao) and suppress rebel forces (Fang La). It has introduced readers to many of the best-known characters in Chinese literature.
The front side is one of the heroes in Water margin. It is a portrait of Ruan XiaoQi. The novel depicts Ruan Xiaoqi as having bulging eyes, pale yellow whiskers, and dark skin patches, making him look like a fearsome bronze statue. He lives in Shijie Village, where he lives by fishing in waters near the Liangshan Marsh. Ruan Xiaoqi is a good swimmer and fights well underwater. He later joins the Liangshan Marsh and becomes an outlaw and seizing victory for Liangshan. He ranks 31st among the 36 Heavenly Spirits, the first third of the 108 Stars of Destiny. The calligraphy on the reverse side describes Ruan Xiaoqi, and his short introduction corresponded to the information.
